480BLF Aluminum Finish

Produces a high gloss and fine mirror finish on aluminum. Menzerna 480BLF is a finishing compound developed especially for aluminum surfaces; it's also suitable for brass and other non-ferrous metals. Spectrum recommends pairing this compound with medium-firmness buffs like our secondary cut/colour buffing wheels and soft buffs like our mirror finishing buffing wheels. Although performance is maximized with Hilzinger buffs, you may find this dry, dense compound works best with lighter textiles at higher buffing wheel speeds.
